Childcare

Our childcare offers short term care for children for ages 6 weeks to 8 years old. Parents may leave their child in childcare for up to 3 hours per day, although they must remain in the athletic club at all times. Our staff are mature, trained individuals, who love working with children. While safety is our top priority, we also strive to insure that each child has an enjoyable time while visiting our club. Activities such as crafts, games and play time keep your child entertained, making your child's visit to Bethany Athletic Club as satisfying as your workout.

Reservations are strongly recommended for children under two years of age, and are required for children of all ages one hour before closing times. Members are able to check in their children up to 45 minutes before our scheduled closing time. Reservations can be made by calling Childcare at (503) 922-4217.  Walk-ins are welcome as long as there is room; however, we strongly suggest that you call in to ensure there is room.

COST

Members: $3.75/hour/child*
Non-Members: $7.50/hour/child*

Expiring Punch Cards

The cost is $50* for an Expiring 15 Hour Punch Card and $100* for an Expiring 35 Hour Punch Card.  Punch Cards expire 6 months from the purchase date, are non-refundable, and cannot be transferred/sold to other members or staff. Punch cards remain filed in Childcare and are pulled in advance of your reservation for your convenience! Member's guests pay the non-member price for Childcare.

  • The Late Cancellation cost is $2/child of the reservation and applied when the cancellation is less than 2 hours from the reservation.
  • The No Show cost is $4/hour/child of the reservation and applied when failing to come to Childcare at the reserved time, nor calling to cancel the reservation.

All fees are charged to your club account.

Date Nights!

Drop off your child at Date Night from 5pm-9pm and you can have a night on the town (without the kids)! Only $25 per child includes games, inflatable, dinner, craft and a whole lot of fun! Call childcare to register! 503-922-4217

Little Feet

Little Feet is a play group in the mornings to get kids moving.  Endless energy is met with endless fun!  Ages 2-4 years will play in an inflatable and other fun toys!

Member Price: $20 per session or $7 drop in cost   (December Session: $15)

Parent's Escape

Parent's Escape (PE) is a special program for your children on weekends and weekdays. PE allows you to drop off your kids and run errands while your kids have a blast in our Childcare!  Since you are allowed to be off site during this time, Childcare does require that you have a cell phone on at all times, and either you or an emergency contact is within 15 minutes of the club in case of emergencies.  Please pick up a Childcare Handbook for more specific information and other policies.

Cost: $7.50 per hour per child
3 hour maximum per child
